Barbicanboy

This is a pretty useless journal. The title says it all, I'm really grateful for all of you watching me for getting me this far, especially the people who comment on every single one of my newest pieces and give me advice and support to spur me on. Next stop 400. Just a few relevant things, my new tablet is amazing and atm I'm working on a 'photorealistic' manga colouring and it's looking pretty good.. at least by my standards. Also my holiday away for christmas wasn't that great because I was ill for most of it, although my christmas presents seemed to cure my fever a little bit :)

Haven't made a journal for a while because I haven't seen the need to but just letting you guys know that my recent inactivity has been due to school work but now that school has finished I will try to work on my 10 half-finished pieces. I'm also going away to Switzerland for a week, I'm not bringing my computer and I also don't expect to get any art done but I'll get back to work when I return home and have my large wacom tablet to open, I might take a picture of my workspace as well so you guys can see where it all happens lol :D:D

Just checked it out and I can't believe I'm already at 100,000 deviation views. So thanks to all of you for getting me this far, I thoroughly appreciate it :D There were many other things I wanted to say in this journal but they completely went out of my head as soon as I started writing this, the only thing I can remember is that all of your support is what makes me want to be a better fanartist, because of this I am experimenting with loads of different techniques to make my cel-shaded pictures look more striking and my soft shaded pictures more realistic, so stay tuned for more work lol.
